I refer to the letter Ashamed of Kedah Pakatan.KP Kok, who describes himself as a strong supporter of Pakatan Rakyat Selangor, says that he is ashamed of Pakatan Rakyat in Kedah after reading about the No to pricey water in Kedah. Basically, he is asking PR in Kedah to buck up on their performance.
As an ordinary Malaysian, (who was born in Kedah, but now working Penang), I don't care what Pakatan Rakyat or Barisan Nasional say in the news. Tan Keng Liang of Gerakan can ask PR in Kedah to give a 10-year guarantee that there will be no water rate increase in Kedah. PR can give an excuse for not being able to that. Obviously, people in Kedah will be happy to get a 10-year guarantee (whether from BN or PR). No one is interested in the excuses, only in the performance.
I'm not involved in politics and I just want to see whether PR or BN can be good for me or not. Then I will decide who I will give my vote (I'm still a registered voter in Kedah). Voters are businessman too. You propose, we consider to accept or not.
In last General Election, the people (including me) voted PR because they promised changes to the country. So, if PR cannot improve the states which they now control, then why should the people even hand them the country?
Start managing the four companies (states). If your performance is good, then the people will let you manage 13 companies (states). If one of the four companies fail (e.g. Kedah), then do you think people will give PR the whole country?
It is common knowledge that Penang is the best PR managed state. And the worse is Kedah. People are now not interested in political talk in the media by BN or PR. Just bring about the changes you promised. Najib says 1Malaysia. Anwar already announced the PR Policy.
So, let's see who is sincere. I hope PR will not disappoint the trust which the people have placed in them.
